The "Stingrays" were founded in 1995, by 8 athletes and their coach from the former Dickson Hill PS in Markham. Since that beginning, we have featured athletes from Unionville, Markham, Stouffville, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Durham, Brampton, Sudbury and Toronto.

"Stingrays" grads have continued on to compete with Team Ontario at the Canada Games; Canada's Junior National Team; for many colleges and universities in the USA and Canada; and on the pro beach circuit and in Europe.

The club currently offers a competitive volleyball experience for female athletes from the ages of 14 to 18, who reside in and around York Region. Our experienced coaches stress quality individual and team training with a goal of consistent performances.

Our coaches are also available to run clinics and workshops that can be tailored to meet specific school and team requests.

The Head Coach of the Stingrays Volleyball Club is Keith Wasylik. He is a Level 3 certified coach and instructor. Keith is a former member of Team Canada, and has also coached in the OVA provinvial team programs and in the Volleyball Canada Youth National Team program.

Our club philosophy is:
"Train hard!  Play tough!  Have fun!"
